Maps blow, people you kill have the same backpack of 30 cumrags that you already have. quests are generic and turn into accidental checklists rather than any real route planning. Might be the most fun I've had playing a PvP game since xbox live on the 360 and original xbox.
People actually talking on voice. I've been called a faggot over voice, by random strangers, more times in the past couple of days than I have in the past 15 years. Then there are people who are willing to team up to do hidden little events and stuff around the map or help each other out. Combat has a Halo kind of feel to it, where you're not just getting killed before you even knew someone was jumping you.
Great game, just wish the cosmetics weren't so ugly.

This is where you are wrong and where the Tarkov clones all fall flat on their face.
Tarkov and the genre it created thrives on the fact that it is the only FPS with real consequences and rewards. If you kill someone, you get their whatever stuff you want except for their secure pouch.
In ARC, you can't loot someone's clothing because they paid real money for it, and therefore the amount of reward is diminished.
These games try so hard to hold your hand to avoid any pain they wind up making it a walking simulator.

Someone could make a Diablo-like with an extraction spin for example. Forever Winter might be good when it's actually finished but the quests are way too generic instead of having a background storyline to follow even if you ignore all the technical problems, something even the chinks who made Duckov understood (you have to leave the planet).

Helldivers 2 is an amazing PvE extraction shooter, until its not. It has been well over a year since the devs have added a real use for the resources in the game (samples) that can only be obtained by successfully extracting with them.

Even if they make the AI balls hard, the entire game will just become cheesing the AI. The failstate for dying in PvE co-op games doesn't need to be extraction shit. There was a failstate in left 4 dead. There is a fail state in hell divers. There is a fail state in deeprock galactic. Extraction is meant to be PvPvE and making one purely PvE or purely PvP defeats the purpose of the genre because there are hundreds of better sole pvp shooters and sole pve dungeon crawling/looter shooter games.
