I'm playing a 90s JRPG that is very stingy with saves. We're talking an hour plus of gameplay between towns.I did die a couple times and reload a save state. This is NOT about difficulty, I could have done without them just fine.I am an adult with responsibilities and my backlog is too damn long to justify doubling the length of a game by replaying large chunks of content repeatedly because of this design philosophy.
