I could never get into paradox games other than Crusader kings. The idea of playing some abstract, disembodied idea of a nation is very strange. You don't play as the government, because that can be changed, even by revolts, and you are still in charge. It feels too game-y for me.Am I just misinterpreting things? Make it make sense.

Retard here, should I get this or CK3? The idea of building up a dynasty really appeals to me, but not so much that it trumps the strategy element of making decisions, so if this is better at that, I'd go for this instead.
