how is it?
interrogations are unintentionally hilarious but the gameplay is just boring rockstar slop. if you like the 50s hard boiled detective aesthetic its fairly enjoyable.
>>724980678its pretty good, great atmosphere and the story is interesting enoughand of course you travel to a time when LA wasnt a complete shithole
>>724980678gr8 for the majority of it but then some game still left but loop exact same and hard to finish
>>724980814I love early noir novels (Chandler and Hammett) but yes the worry is the gameplay
Faunas / Nimi's playthrough of this game is legendary
it's great and unique, I've played it like 4-5 times through over the years
>TrafficAwesome desk, all around good cases>MurderThis desk pisses me off so much, half of the cases could be solved simply by analyzing pieces of evidence (like finding the HM overalls or analyzing the blood on the shoes) and the rest just... end with a chase of the suspect and you catch him... wowand best of all? None of them did it. It was random barman you saw once or twice and it's connected to the dhalia case (because it's the fucking 50's and people only died because of this guy. In LA.. sure)>ViceOverall decent but the cheating subplot is just there. Also not enough gangster busting cases, you're telling me there's not a single italian mobster gang? No gang wars or something? c'mon>Arsonby this point, I had clocked out mentally and was along for the story. I don't like Kelso and they just keep throwing shit on Phelps which I guess is the point. All in all, feels like a game with way too much hacked off. The industrial area is not used at all, despite there being an iron smelting facility (imo should have been something for the cut robbery case. Like a gang of thieves bringing their loot to smelt it down or something). No bunko, no robbery desks, despite your partner being present and voiced for a case, alluding to those desks. It's still a darn good game, but it could have been so much more.
