Battles are removed, good CG is used to remove all traces of the removed battles from following scenes that are used, the DUMB FUCKING PLAN to cover Smaug in gold is gone (and CG'd off him during his escape), the white Orc is now some random goblin leader at the end of the Battle of Five Armies (also barely a thing now - HOORAY!) It was one of the most enjoyable video games i've played to date because of the joystick gameplay. now i;m looking to play a new game and im thinking about sitting down and actually beating baldur's gate series. I've put hundreds of hours in 1 and 3 but i've never actually beaten either games and I havent even touched BG2 or the BG1 expansion packs. The issue a few years ago was that my computer broke down and I lost my save data and then BG3 came out and that was fantastic.

The fragment puzzle is a bit weird and has a dodgy translation. Basically, yes, you need clues from each fragment sequentially to unlock the criteria for other fragments. You're basically pulling together all the information you need to beat Takano and the Yamainu. IIRC, there is also a special reward for not making a mistake during the puzzle, and it's sort of an epilogue fragment that explains those weird poems you get at the start of each chapter and the cyclical nature of the Hinamizawa loop. You can just look it up on YouTube after you finish though.

Melinoë has less HP than Zagreus and has a mana-system as opposed to Zagreus's diamond thingy. She does have a cast which is a round AOE that stops enemies from escaping said AOE and you can upgrade it with boons to do damage and shit. She also hasnt got the multiple dash ability Zagreus had, but you can hold the dash button so she runs faster. Also, like a witch, she'll get familiars with different perks Character-Wise she's a cutie that was trained from birth to slay the main villain so she's a bit uptight and task focused. Way less sassy than Zagreus was.Only complaint I have is that her Mana System is horrible until you upgrade it via game's mirror of night or get Hestia/Poseidon boons. Sort of an implied pseudo sequel but stands as a great companion to the original, first run took me 14 hours tho so it can be a bit lengthy compared to the original. I think its the best Silent Hill project since SH4, but the series has a lot more rough to it than good so take that what you will.

BF1 oddly does not suffer from this issue at all but then BF5 does again. Anyway there is a new map dropping in like a week so either get it then or just wait till everything comes out. It's really quite casual compared to BF4 which is mostly a good thing.

I got close to the end of the game in the hotel but honestly it really drags in places so I didn't 100% beat it. Interested to see if they make born from a wish into a lengthy dlc though. >>725208461From what I've experienced so far, the writing isn't as millennial-heavy as I expected. Yes you see posters about the diverse workforce at Concordance Extraction, but that seems to contrast against the fact that the company is a dump with tons of infighting from audio and text logs. Yeah there's a new black pilot at the intro (or maybe she was always there, been a while since I played the original), but she's paralyzed from the ship crash landing into the Ishimura in Chapter 1 and dies fuckin quick when it explodes. The main difference that I've noticed really comes from Issac being talkative and tweaks to the gameplay. Weapons are no longer purchased at stores, Issac will find new weapons at certain points with the catch that extra upgrades are paid (on top of the same upgrade node system). Zero G segments are like they are in Dead Space 2-3, and some closets/drawers are locked until you have the required "security clearance" levels. And instead of hoping on a train only at the start and end of a chapter, you can ride it between certain points any time you want. Like I said it's not really a replacement for the original, but it's worth a look if you've replayed DS1 plenty and want a fun alternate way to re-experience it. Heard the PC port has microstutter but I played on PS5, very stable except for 1 crash, FPS drops during cutscenes, and enemy bodies typically going spastic when dead.
