Are slide reels cutscenes?
I watch streams of games I haven't heard about or don't care about. Outer Wilds was one of them; never heard of it before, watched a stream of it. So now I have no reason to play it myself since I already know what happens and how it all works, including the DLC.
>>725200970You spoiled yourself then, hope you liked watching the stream at least
>>725201318I didn't care for most of the stream, or I should say I barely paid attention. The giant tornadoes on Giant's Deep caught my attention, but barely did for the streamer. So ultimately I find it funny when people pitch the game as "don't look anything up, just play it". If your game only has value from the first playthrough then I was never gonna buy it because I don't go into games blind.
>>725193939I played it. Got bored at ~ the point I finished the sand planet that slowly fills up... or was it the planet with the lantern fish you're meant to drift through? idk what came afterbut I got bored
>>725198762>am terrified of tornadoes.YWNBAM (You Will Never Be A Midwesterner)
I played it without looking it up and got instantly bored and the reddit aliens on the starting planetI assume it gets better but the style and atmosphere in the first 30 minutes were enough to put me off the game. And I'm not looking up what it's actually like later because there's a tiny tiny chance one day I may come back to it so I don't wanna spoil it. But in the meantime I just remember it as the fuck ugly ass game and have no desire to give it another try any time soon.If you're supposed to play it blind they really shouldn't have frontloaded it with garbage like that.

>>725193939This is true for singleplayer games, but not for online multiplayer games. Those games are competing for players because they rely on having lots of players online at the same time to be fun.

what you should really play is the funny fox game
