>Friend gushes about a game and begs me to play it and says it's amazing>Beat the game and like it>Try to tell him my thoughts on it and how much I liked it>He sounds kinda bored and immediately changes the subject ...
>>725372867TRANNY LIKE A MELODY IN MY HEAD
>>725372867You were supposed to talk about the graphics and "game feel", not whatever mechanics autism you started ranting about.
>>725372867He only wanted to suck your dick
>>725372867I love having realizations all my friends are fucking golem retards and the majority of our conversations are actually them parroting shit they saw a youtuber say.Literally once said an opinion on something and my friend asked me where did I learn it from, when I told him I came up with it myself he didn't even know how to respond.
>>725373207>Literally once said an opinion on something and my friend asked me where did I learn it from, when I told him I came up with it myself he didn't even know how to respond.lolMy world was absolutely shattered when I found out 99% of the games people sing the praises of to my face are games they played for like 5-10 hours and never even bothered finishing. Apparently beating games you like is some super niche bizarre thing.
>>725373207I had one coworker that would not only parrot what youtubers say but just parrot their feelings without truly knowing what said YouTuber was mad about. He would be very vague but outraged, and then i asked him to elaborate and he said he needed to look into it
People under 30 don't gave spuls
>>725373207This is probably why I don't have any friends. I would have to rip my hair out every time I hear people say some retarded shit.
>>725374130I retreated from mine for this reason. I can't respect them.
>>725374130>>725374210You need to realize there is also wisdom in going with the flow.
>>725374274Yes but why am I going to spend time and energy hanging out with people I don't respect? They've said and done too many stupid things
bump
>>725372867Some people fall apart as soon as soon as you engage their supposed interests on a deeper level than nodding and saying 'wow, that's cool'.
>>725374130 Same, anon. It's like everyone’s just coasting on pre-packaged thoughts they saw in a TikTok or some garbage Reddit thread that’s been copy-pasted across the internet since 2019. Try bringing up an original opinion and you get stared at like you just barked in Morse code. God forbid you challenge the sacred doctrine of “what everyone else said is good.”
>>725373207I have a friend that does this, he just watches streamers play shit, very clearly parrots their opinion, and will constantly recommend games while NEVER playing them himself. Then when he DOES play a game he's obviously constantly checking a guide while pretending he's not, and he'll always talk about what the best stuff is like he found out himself and judges or backseats you if you don't do what he (the guide) does.
>>725373207I try to not call it out when friends do this but it's really noticeable once you know someone well enough, depressing
