I unironically think the next Kingdom Hearts game should have Mickey Mouse go missing and a cute anime boy Riku's age appears, and he's obviously Mickey Mouse with his memory wiped but the story treats it as a secret mystery. Cute animal mascot to yaoi pretty boy is kino trope.

I would link every mystery and smaller character that is tossed around into a single giga xehanort thing, making it a bigger, final mystery.then put the explanation of this mystery in a exclusive Atari Jaguar CD game. being both an ultimate platform hassle, and the best game in that platform
KH2 combat mechanics combined with KH1 level design and story would be the perfect KH game.
