I really enjoyed elden ring and would like to play more elden ring, but nobody likes me except my gf who doesn't play games. anybody try this solo?

>>725399452There's a couple paths. You could do solo, which is fine and properly tuned (maybe a little overtuned in the players favor but whatever), or just play randos. Randos is a pretty mixed bag but that's every online game. You'll generally meet more bro players than raging dipshits but expect the occasional trainwreck match

Half the fun of the game is the team aspect. You could try solo if you're really determined to not interact with other players but really I would not have put as half as many hours into this game if I only played solo.Not only that but even though it's "easier" it feels a little more tedious. When you die the game takes forever to respawn, versus when youre in a team match when you "die" you just temporarily go down and a teammate can instantly get you back up.Second example is the amount of mobs everywhere. It's clearly designed for teams to have each others backs and help clear a bunch of mobs at once, even better if someone has some AOE move like an ult or a hoarfrost stomp or something. Again doesn't make solo that much harder just way more tedious and frusterating.

No. The bosses are all hyper spergy and relentless so it's super tedious to fight them solo and it's hard to get practice in because you have to slog through the meat of the game inbetween each attempt.

Yeah, I've only played it solo. I've never done multiplayer and I thought it was fun. Some of the bosses are pretty good. I got bored after ~70 hours. I'll play again when the dlc comes out.

Where the fuck is the new content? It's unironically one of the best live-services I've played, just give me more content. I'm fine if it's just ported mobs/bosses from er or older games.
