I tried playing Where Winds Meet.Uninstalled it 5 hours later.>Combat is just Wo Long, huge emphasis on parrying so there is no nuance to combat at all and the focus on it means almost nothing else matters except parrying, parry spam abilities off cooldown, parry parry parry parry until enemy stamina bar gone press x to cool, parry parry parry parry parry parry>China servers so laggy as fuck outside of china in a game where timing for parries and dodges is everything makes all only content impossible>UI is complete dog shitIt's honestly a shame because the world and the interactivity with the world is really fun.If I could play the game without high ping, I might have enjoyed it and been able to ignore everything else.

>>725917852It is playable, but there are some nitpicky bugs and some major gamebreakers.Like gadgets like throwable axe or perfume "holy water" bomb somehow duplicating in the storage toybox, shop keepers not speaking their voice lines when buying stuff and BIG CHUNK OF THE PENULTIMATE LEVEL MISSING because devs had last minute release crunch panic and accidentally deleted the big chunk of the level from their development branch and added that branc into the 1.0 release. Now they are busy rebuilding the missing chunk while taking care of minor nitpick bugs.So at this very moment, it is playble, but nobody can finish it.
So I've been playing Immortals Fenyx Rising.Ubishit had a 5 year anniverary thing on their launcher and just gave the game away for free.It's decent, but very front loaded with the ability gaining. Much like BOTW, which it apes + Elden Ring horses.
