I'm playing through again to see which scenes I want to select before recording it all and cutting it down into episode files, and this time I decided to go the Mandy route. Holy fuck the story is so much worse, why do people like this? Some of the scenes are jarringly off. Like in Episode 5 when they go to the bar and Visi asks for a drink, you're not offered any option to respond to her and it just awkwardly cuts to her putting her hand on your shoulder with a jump cut that's inconsistent with the shot before it. Then in the following episode when dancing with Mandy, it's another awkward cut. In the shot directly before Robert dances with her, she's to Robert's right dancing with Royd. Then out of nowhere she jumps out from Robert's left.I can't say which other ones will pop up as the game continues, but for sure the game was originally shot and storyboarded around with Robert going to the movies with Visi and dancing with her in episode 6 as well. Half the fun I'm having now that it's all over is going through each choice and finding out which one is likely to be the one that was originally shot, then work backwards to put it all together in the most consistent playthrough.

This is very common in any analysis of games, shows, etc. The same discussion happened with Visi watching Robert undress, and flirting with him at work. I've had office romances with some drama that parallels this game, and have been labeled a rapist in the past in similar fashion.
