What did you like about Cyberpunk 2077?
>>725938198there's nothing excellent about this game really
Hanako.
>>725938329Except the butt cheeks.
>>725938198Considering I've beaten in about 4 times now, I liked something.
hey guys what video game should I play next?
>>725938198I could larp as BladeRunner for a few hours. so I sat in the apartment got drunk and sulked
>>725938198Honesty nothing, maybe overdesigned cars but only how they look
>>725938198I thought that was Solid Snakes ass for a second and i got excited
>>725938198i can smell the burning rubber and sweaty cheeks from the screen panam
>>725938198It was fun to explore the city & shoot bad guys... still feels like the game is surprisingly void of content even after all this time tho
>>725938198Imagine the smell.
>supposed to be set in the future>no fat girl companion
>>725938198>Saving So Mi>Don't fear the Reaper>Katana+Shotgun build>The Herrera Outlaw>The musicA lot of things.
I'd recognize that ass anywhereKino game, unironically
>>725938198witcher 3 was revolutionary. many games are still inspired by it. cyber77 didn't revolutionize anything. deus ex is fucking better imo. too bad fartenix killed this franchise...
>>725938198There's no 3rd person so I don't like this game.
>>725938198the models and set design are top tier, otherwise its kind of mid. most of the story and characters aren't really believable
>>725938198the cityall the environment artists and designers and sound guys and NPC generator guys deserve all the props. They did a phenomenal job.I still have it installed and drive/walk around once a month just because there is such a distinct sense of place.Just wish you could interact with it more or in some other ways than bang bang shooty shooty drive over pedestrian
>>725938198I liked the atmosphere, the characters, the story, the world building and the gameplay. To be more precise I think Refused as Samurai is probably some of the best world building ever. The relationship between Silverhand and V is very well done and I genuinely grew to like Johnny by the end. The first person perspective worked exceptionally well to immerse me in the world. The lackluster amount of stats and stat dependent dialogue choices is a bummer, but the imsim adjacent gameplay combined with the varied combat builds makes the general gameplay incredibly replayable. I also think it simply has good game feel. Moving and shooting is just enjoyable.I also think the quest design is good. Most quests have multiple endings and multiple ways to approach them.In short Cyberpunk 2077 is a real masterpiece.
>>725938198The same thing I liked about The Witcher 3.
>>725938198Game is so-so in any level, but:>modding>car sounds>kinda freedom of approach to mission objective >small details (if you play nomad, and dialogue check Jackie in one moment, you will find out he actually listened to you)>i know this thing is dying, but hetero romance, Panam is okay, and sex scene is hot>some music is great (airport mayhem if you side with song bird)>i very like Keanu performance and his character, especially if you play thing right and listen to him>Play sick solo>some weapons are great, especially with coalition with proper modding, and are very good detailed>if properly moded, graphics are great>most characters are very good written, i like Goro, and i am sad, there is no further interaction with him - some main quest line arasaka and Hanako involved>localization is great, if just okay - cdp started as Polish local dealer of games in Poland, i remeber Fallout Tactics localization and Mass Effect 1 localization was awesome>shion "coyote" have glowing exhaust pipes when rpm rises, small detail but is awesome>Panam>some quests are disturbing, but others are dark and moody>v can act in dialogue as badass, it's hard to achieve these days
It's a mediocre game, but doing the Don't Fear The Reaper ending with just a sword and the augments to support it felt kinda cool. Though I'm always a sucker for killing lots of guys with a sword.
>>725938198being the good guy merc who does jobs for the downtrodden. then I replayed the game trying to be a villain and realized I was railroaded into being that anyway.overall shit RPG but decent GTA-like
>>725938198>First person booba>Combat>Story>SoundtrackIn Cyberpunk I never use the fast travel system, because it*s so much fun driving through the city.
I just wish the AI wasn't so shit. getting shot at by cops and getting a wanted star just because gang members shot at ME (without retaliating) is so dumb, it's like they didn't test it at all. They did well with the city design, visuals and story, but the open world & sandbox elements are poor at best.
>>725938198sandevistan and katana build it's just too much fun to completely slice up a guy before he even hits the groundi can't get enough of that combo, i've finished the game three times with just that build
The overall story is decent but the moment-to-moment dialogue is unbearably corny. Everyone is dropping their g's and throwing around the same 10 or so made up slang words. It just makes it all feel so hollow and shallow. Life paths are virtually meaningless in terms of player agency, but even the way V acts and speaks is so distinctly tailored to an antihero Streetkid playthrough that it is pointless to have even pretended this was an RPG.
This thing along with modding , this Chinese high tech gadget awakens long dormant Deus Ex Blood Memories for me
high user engagement shilling on /v/ tactic:post le sexo stuffnever fails to draw posts that arent just OP self botting
>>725948610Posted to avoid the thread getting pruned.cont:The world design is genuinely beautiful and interestingly varied. The amount of interior spaces and the seamlessness of entering/leaving them is truly an achievement that few other open world games have achieved, but the actual content inside of the open world is shallow and monotonous. Some gigs are interesting but the majority of them are mindless slop with simple, unvarying objectives to fill up the map with points of interest. Phantom Liberty went in the right direction with making them more dynamic and quest-like, but even some of those felt a bit lacking. In general the world has that very ubisoft-like overworld issue of never letting you engage with it on an immersive level because the design language is just about chasing map markers and ticking boxes. The RPG and immersive sim elements are incredibly half-baked. Combat feels visceral but trivial, even at the hardest difficulties. Despite being a 'cyberpunk' world, I never really felt like not investing in any netrunning skills hamstrung me in any way that mattered, and simple camera disables and sentry takeovers carried 90% of my engagement with hacking. The way skill trees work made me feel pigeonholed into using very specific weapon types and playstyles the whole way through, which became incredibly monotonous and creatively frustrating. Similarly, cybernetic modification is touted as a core component of the game and world and yet gameplay-wise it is basically an afterthought. Most implants just alter a few stats here or there, very few of them felt like they had any real meaningful impact on the feel or abilities of my V, and none of them even impacted anything aesthetically. You can be modded to the gills and npcs don't treat you any differently. Even cyberpsychosis is treated as a lazy stat bonus with some visual flair.
>>725949462I started as a femV and was unsurprised that she can't get (at least without mods) any slutty outfits that are available for NPCs.Still a fun game, I guess I'm around mid-way through it
>>725949761It took me like 3-4 times over a few years to get past the horribly slow and stupid opening act, but I am glad I actually got around to beating the game, even if it did become a bit of a drag towards the middle. The endgame got interesting enough that it ended things on a high note for me.Overall, it's very strange because all of the base components of the game themselves outside of the graphics and world design are deeply mediocre, but the overall package managed to hold my attention for over 100 hours, which is genuinely a testament, as I basically never finish single player games these days. If the full base game was developed with the same mindset as Phantom Liberty but with a bigger budget and scope, it could've been a real contender as a game, but as it is, it is totally fine.
cons>photorealism slop>open world slop>starting class means fuck all, just how your intro is>a game built on lies>no good endings, only depressing shit>johnny is really annoying>story is main character is dying but has time to do side quests pros>no loading screens is cool>gameplay is okay>fps rpg is one of my favorite genres>memorable charactersi hope the sequel will be low poly and with mission areas
Played it a year ago, didn't finish, open world was mid and the main mission neared its end at about the time it started feeling like the beginning of something.
>>725938198lived long enough to see phat ass in 4k
>>725942336still crazy that she's just a random npc that appears in 2 seconds and you can't romance her
