Golden Light is I think pretty unique & striking.Mars First Logistics has a pretty nice artstyle, mostly cel-shaded in a way that feels like a cross between a French graphic novel and a Lego instruction manual.
this may not be an obscure game by any means but i just love love love the art in cupheadi've never seen an attempt at old 40's era animation be emulated so well in the modern dayeven the cuphead cartoon fucked this up but the game just nailed iti love when games try and emulate an old era's artstyle and actually do it wellspeaking of which what are some games that do old vidya graphics really convincingly, and i don't just mean make shit crunchy and put on a crt filter, but like the whole design philosophyyou know how you can look at a game from ye olden days and go "oh yeah, this is old" just by the way the art is designed? yeah, like that
