Why do you have to leave the cartridge in the Switch 2 to continue downloading the game. That is by far the weakest drawback for me. My internet is slow, so I have to leave the console sitting for days to acquire the game I already bought.

Of all possible drawbacks Key Cards have, keeping it on the console is the biggest non-issue possible. The greatest issues are lack of future proofing in case servers are killed and the size of the games themselves, already taking real state with the internal storage. Everything else is bullshit.
