Sony doesn't do that, their games hut the bargain bins only a scant few months after release, and PS owners don't even buy them like they do with third parties.

Their success comes from the fact that they abandoned home consoles and shifted full focus to handheld development. Sony exited the handheld market and their only """competition""" is handheld PCs and those are hobbyist devices, even the Steam Deck, so in actuality they're dominating a market with no competition.
