If you like the slow pace of the gameplay and the exploration, games like the Metroid Prime trilogy, Fusion, and maybe Dread would be enjoyable
If you think the game should be faster/more action oriented, Zero Mission, Fusion, Dread, Samus Returns (3DS)
If you want the pure Metroid experience that everyone forgets about play Metroid II on the GBA and Metroid (NES)
