I think it's weird that it's framed that Robert is giving heroes orders. That's not how dispatchers work. He's largely there to coordinate efforts to get to the issues, provide operstional support, and offer some advice if they get stuck, baded on his long experience as a hero. I don't get what's so hard to understand. Invisigal worked for Shroud for years to pay off the lung augment she got. The Mecha Man job was him offering to wipe the whole debt clean if she did it. Going by Toxic and the small armed guy it seems all of his mooks know his ability and Inivisgal wouldn't be an exception. So she kept everything to herself so Shroud couldn't predict her actions. So I don't understand the confusion people are having with her.

However, as a black woman, I was definitely a little bit concerned about how Prism - a black female character who is known as a "failed pop star" - would be portrayed - and it looks like I was right to be. There is a scene where the white male character literally talks down to Prism and calls her "Nikki Mirage" and "Cardi C," and they frame her as the stereotypical "aggressive black woman." It was really racist, and it doesn't come off as a joke to me as he was trying to assert his authority as the leader of the dispatch team. I'm genuinely appalled that they actually thought that was a good idea to put in the game.I feel like this sub has a lot of blind spots as it often focuses on issues affecting white women, so it sadly makes sense why more people don't seem to be concerned about this. To me, the treatment of this character in this scene is definitely not a "small thing," and I would urge you not to support this game. Obviously, I can't force anyone to do anything, but I would really appreciate any solidarity. I personally only saw people play the demo, but from what you and other people are saying - it seems like the full game has a completely different tone and also unfortunately sexually objectifies it's female characters. As such, I think not playing this game is for the best.
