I haven't finished this in over a decade because every time I've tried to replay it, whatever fan-patch or mod I use shits the bed like, two thirds through and corrupts my saves. I'm not doing it all again just for the same thing to happen, what's the version on PS5 like?

The two main negatives is that there are more breaks in areas because the PS2 can't load the full zones and the inventory management is dumbed down for consoles. On the flip side the game has new cinematic for the opening and ending. Otherwise it's pretty much the same game.

Loaded it up a couple of weeks ago and things were all fucked up, like the nightclub had already been raided in Hong Kong but the objectives list thought I hadn't found Tracer Tong or the sword or Maggie Chow or any of that yet. Tried to load an earlier save and they all stopped working. Backed up the saves, reinstalled without the launcher and tried again, same thing.
