gaming copilot probably.
i'm curious to try it for fun. if i enable it, can you still disable it?

god i hate wikis
>>
>>725961835
most local models dont have web search built in which this relies on
>>
Some people genuinely can not think for themselves, they just rely on what's told to them by the zeitgeist. AI and wikis made this extremely obvious.
>>
>>725962084
if you wanna really piss people off do it for an rpg/jrpg
>>
>>725962560
Yea. Real thinkers spend hundred thousand to go to africa and catch million lions to know their average weights instead of using information that is already available
>>
>>725962895
The average weight of Lions in Africa is not relevant to decisions you make. If a game gives you a multiple choice option and your first instinct is to look up the "correct" answer, then you're 100% cattle.
>>
>>725962560

>Lists wikipedia and zeitgeist
>"UMM I ACTUALLY MEANT IN VIDEO GAMES"
>>
>>725961412
What happens if you use this in a porn game? It starts saying things like, "Time to show your mom that birth wasn't a one-way trip! Grab that porn DVD and play it loud so she can hear it.", "Remember to masturbate your giant cock so your little sister can see it, because that loli is such a slut that just one glance at your cock is enough for her to throw her inhibitions aside."
>>
>>725963407
I never said Wikipedia specifically and zeitgeist in this instance is clearly referring to commonly agreed opinions.
>>
its like a constant contest to see what retarded ways to integrate AI into everything. has there been a demo of actually generating dialogue or story with AI in a game yet? like literally the one actual non retarded use for it in the context of video games? jesus christ
>>
>>725961412
>if it sees your furry friend minecraft.net

>>
>>725963852
There are several AI generated dialogue games and they're all dogshit too.

That where the wind ends or whatever game uses it for rando npcs so you can talk to them

>>725963852
Suck Up! was a decent FOTM for streamers
>>
Feels like there's a singular way this could be not gay and retarded, and little else. I remember playing Final Fantasy XI back in like 2007 and basically having a wiki page up permanently on my second screen. The game was just too fucking esoteric otherwise. I could see an MMO that isn't empty WoWslop duty finder going back to that sort of obtuse way of acquiring information in a scifi setting. Give your character an in game and literal AI copilot that learns information as the community clears quests and content.
>>
>>725964087
you can wishlist it on steam it'll be free to use, not quite done yet https://store.steampowered.com/app/3832100/GAMEBORO/

Is it actually your product?
If so, please try to get a better trailer. Maybe there's some legal issues with using real games, but at least make the games in your trailer make sense. The footage shows nonsensical things. Like for example in the Not-Dark Souls footage the whole point is to show the player getting a game over, but in the actual "Gameplay" they still have life and their character is still standing. Your trailer is showing one thing but then states another. Either try to get some stock footage of fake games, or maybe contact some other games and ask if they can be used in your trailer (My advice would be to ask game developers who use AI in their project if you're worried about backlash. For example Suck up! might be a good choice since they use AI for npc dialogue and it's a likeable example of AI use in video games that most people wouldn't be upset about.
Also your product description is really clearly AI generated. It's just a bunch of buzzwords that don't really describe the product or what it does, just words that claim it's "good" but without actually mentioning what it does. Please write this yourself because it does not sell your product at all.

If I can say one good thing, it's that I like your cute ghost mascot and the reaction it makes when thinking/speaking/etc.

No I will not be baited into giving all my data to some shady publisher on Steam just because it has an anime girl on it. I'm not that easy.
>>

i get being skeptical about the claims around AI and such but this is retardedly contrarian
>>
nigga how do I use copilot for screen capture I don't want to use this dinky shit
>>
>>725965565
yeah its a small project i've been working on in my spare time
you're generally right, I used fake game footage because I wasnt sure of the implications of using other games in the trailer and the actual games in it arent super important, just trying to convey an overall message. I'll see what I can do about using some real games, appreciate the feedback

What model does this use to process voice input?
What model does this use on the API to actually process them?
How do you handle the API costs?
Does this actually send a screenshot of the game or are you supposed to tell it, or does it use the name of the executable?
I expect this to be non-functional but cute ghost mascot.
>>
>>725964863
I will say this. also put a disclaimer letting the user know what sort of things you are going to collect and use to search the web. it's really vague right now for example:
What sort of things it will detect and send to you? Because it seems like all the requests are going to be going through your server first and then parsed and returned for the player. Are you going to collect information such as OS, language, and computer settings? Depending how the game is set up the answers might vary from system to system.
Whatever is that you end up doing, make sure you let the costumer know what you are going to be collecting and sending your way
>>
>>725967148
nigga what API do you use for requests then lmao. Deepseek?

I am integrating a wiki in my game but you have to go to the library in-game in order to access it from within the game if you want to remain immersed.
>>
>>725967925
Start doing THIS
>>
>>725961412
I'd fuck with a co-pilot for Factorio but the co-pilot would probably have an aneurism trying to figure out how to do basic shit.
It would likely get all sorts of shit wrong.
>>
>>725967527
DeepSeek is honestly not even that bad.
I think the fact that OpenAI is getting fucked up right now is based. Fuck Billionaire Jews. I hope they drown in piss and shit.
>>
Heroin, what you want is heroin. You want free dopamine without working for it, so try heroin and meth.
>>
>>725967925
Be sure to have some kind of immersive way of taking notes too.
>>
>>725967515
not collecting anything

>>725967397
gpt transcribe, been flipping around various models for processing but speed + web search are requirements. I'm just paying for API costs atm, hopefully some sort of business model works out.
Regarding screenshots, there is an option to enable it but it adds 2-3 seconds to replies so its off by default, and it uses game detection to figure out what game you are asking the question about.
It actually works really well.

>>725967925
this is pretty based

>>725969863
works really well with factorio in terms of helping calculate inputs/outputs, figuring out recipes, and how to optimize layouts
>>
>>725964043
Probably the """""""""""""""""""source"""""""""" of the """""""""""""""snippet""""""""""""""""" but someone was to dumb to put brackets around.
>>
>>725972948
this is correct, its a link to a source that I havent styled yet pls forgive
>>
>>725972704
it uses gpt-4o so it's the same product as copilot gaming
>>
>free
Lmao I regulary hit gpt limits by fucking around asking dumb shit how the fuck can you have this running for hours without hitting limits?
>>
>>725973113
no, it doesnt use gpt4 for the information, just for transcribing the audio input
>>
>>725973253
because those are artificial limits anon
>>
>>725973264
Anon I think that Copilot shit does the same thing... Transcription then web search...
>>
>>725973357
Sorry, I don't get it. Everything is artificial in AI after all. Or you mean you can just ignore it? I never tried.
>>
>>725961412
Wikis are the sole reason MMOs are killed or left on life support. Whoever supports wikis can eat shit. "It's optional" is the biggest cope ever when the game's design is build from the idea that it will be on wiki anyway, one dude figuring it out it's enough. As I said, eat shit faggots.
>>
>dev makes retards download his bitcoin miner

Isn't most of it spoiled by the devs themselves? I'm not currently playing any MMORPG but I follow some OSRS news for fun and basically everything relevant to the future updates is 90% known in advance. Yeah I know they have >>>>pooling of updates but what's the point of publishing all but an exhaustive list of all the new islands that >>>>sailing will bring?
>>
>>725976535
>Isn't most of it spoiled by the devs themselves?
this too, I forgot about it, great job mentioning it. I remember I called out one of them when the first GW 2 expansion launched, he got really mad acting like he did not understand why a hidden in-game collection that had no UI hints of any kid being "revealed" to a "community leader" when it comes to its starting point is wrong. It fucking sucked, the dev who did the collection had clear experience in quest and narrative design, it was a fun piece of content that took your through the entire expansion. whenever I tried to party/chat with others about the next clue or to try to group find the hints etc the only responses I would get were go to the wiki bro, x utuber has a guide on it bro, just /wiki collection name in chat bro. I hate that retard so much it's unreal.
