Feels like there's a singular way this could be not gay and retarded, and little else. I remember playing Final Fantasy XI back in like 2007 and basically having a wiki page up permanently on my second screen. The game was just too fucking esoteric otherwise. I could see an MMO that isn't empty WoWslop duty finder going back to that sort of obtuse way of acquiring information in a scifi setting. Give your character an in game and literal AI copilot that learns information as the community clears quests and content.
