I'm a completely new player to grand strategy games, and was wondering if you guys could help me find the one that's right for me.
I have a few questions since I know nothing about the games
>Which game has the most emergent gameplay?
By that I mean the system is so high in variance it feels immersive, and every game has a unique feeling to it; things always surprise you or go in unexpected ways with complex interactions.

>Which has the best ai?
If I'm going to be putting 1000s of hours into one of these games I'd like their to be mod options to give me a challenge, atleast a decent one, dont really want to be a mp fag since these games are always unbalanced with loads of cheese

>which would you recommend for any reason?
Would like to hear your guys favorite and the pros and cons of the popular ones if your willing to share with me.
Thanks
