If anything, the fact that Sony had the audacity to port a game that was designed to show off the Dualshock, on a system with one analog nub, shows just how much of a gimmick the control scheme was.

Then again, Nintendo did just that with Super Mario 64 DS, a game that was designed around the analog stick, on a system with no analog stick.
