As someone who has been in the hobby from the strart (I had a Pong console at release), the title over the years I have heard most associated with the title "greatest game of all time" is FF7, and there a lot of reasons for that, some that go beyond the game itself. But while lots of people love that game, lots of people do not care at all for it and will never play it.

In all seriousness, how many of you actually think E33 will be remembered as an all time great? Personally, I think it will. It reminds me of Ocarina of Time in the sense that even if it’s not a personal favourite, there’s not that much that’s objectively wrong with it. The worst I can say about it is that there’s not much replay value and that the balancing is a bit scuffed (particularly in Act 3).
