now that the complete story is finished (he said no more games will be directed by him) and i've played both of them a couple of times, I think they basically forgot to give higgs any character development. He goes from being "thanos" or giga hitler or whatever comparison you want to make into being a bdsm freak back to being thanos at the end.
This wouldn't be noticed if it weren't for the fact that the main character sam, who does actually have character development, has like 10% of the dialogue of higgs.
I guess the lesson is that if you don't want a sympathetic villain, hire the super expensive actor to play him instead of the protagonist.
