GTA SA really feels like three stories back to back except it’s all the same game. Everything that happens in Los Santos could’ve been its own game, Everything that happens in San Fierro and Red County could’ve been its own game, Everything that happens in Las Venturas and Bone County could’ve been its own game. But instead we get half of LS, all of SF, all of LV, then back to the second half of LS

Content is spread decently assuming you play casually, it have some moments like badlands but SF and LV pick up pace again.

Going for 100% is a massive slog tho, specially collectables.

Not really, you can't interact with the world. That's the main problem with every GTA game, you can do whatever you want, but it still feels like you can't really do anything.

They tried to address this in IV by adding dates, comedy shows, and the infamous bowling nights, but most people disliked that stuff. I completely ignore social events when I replay IV, and the game is much better for it.
