I'll start with 3 because i'm not a faggot.
I decided to play Urtuk the desolation because I had it in my backlog.
So far it's decent, a good mix between darkest dungeon and a tactics game like battle brothers, but some mechanic s by themselves are a bit too convoluted so far, like the armor calculation and shit. In theory I should like it, but ehhh something not quite clicks. Maybe i'll need to git gud a little bit more?

Second off, is the one in the OP's pic, pluto, a deckbuilder roguelike.
The demo is free and very short.
Ehhh I like the visuals, but not much else. It's half an hour before you learn how to play and another half an hourse before you get tired of it. Thankfully by that time you encounter the final boss which was quite hard but I still managed to win. I think it's worse than slay the spire and certainly not as addictive. Also half the time I have no fucking idea what's happening and not in the good way (like noita).

Here's a game you should play: The Frydarian Tale. I could use more playtesters and it's a great computer game featuring 3D graphics, up to 40 enemies to kill, 14 weapons to kill them with, fully voice acted cutscenes, and a dope manual and website. I'll drop a link:

Last one I played was World of Horror. I thought it was fun, as long as you get it cheap. I would change the lighthouse part to something not totally boring and easy though.

Fuck this retarded-ass boss, goddamn.

I did get him on the second attempt but it was by the skin of my teeth. Like 7hp left.

yo wtf is this? what am I supposed to do to not get cursed???
also yeah the giant troll is boring just a giant hp sponge that buffs over time

I just got through the hard chip demo, so far very basic zachtronics-type game. The fact adjacent pieces automatically connect to one another piss me off but its meant to be an element of the challenge. The demo just shows base mechanics and circuits im already familiar with since I study in the field but I might pick it up one day.

I need a fucking game that teaches basic electronics as if it were a puzzle game, that way I can learn something useful for once.
>>

Sometimes I think about trying my hand at making one of those low effort 'mundane bullshit simulator' games about datacenter management. Covers electrical, HVAC, now plumbing, kind of a big overlap area for trades and soft jobs. But I don't imagine anyone wants something like that to actually be accurate/detailed and require math and understanding shit like 3 phase power.

The boss fight functionally sets you on a death timer, its a dps check. Unlike slay the spire you can actually keep your cards and abuse card draw easily with the insight rock ring so you can keep your shield spells and drop them to clear your fingers, especially since the default chant and shield spell share the same components so that's a guaranteed +3 to draw

Shilling indie game thread?
Heck yeah.
I tried this, and before I knew it I spent like 20 hours in it.
It's called Emperor of the fading suns, and it's an old ass forgotten game that was recently re-released on steam and with patches and stuff I think.
It's a space grand-strategy game but with many planets. The level of micromanagment you need to deploy units is very high and almost unmanageable at first but I still like it, it all makes sense. Though I understand it's not for everyone.
The moment you leave your base planet and start colonizing other solars systems against the other houses is when the game truly becomes awesome. You can laser beam and entire planet hell yeah.
Also I need to highligh the politcal system of it, that's the best part. The game was designed to make players actually engage diplomatically rather than in combat, with rankings and positions in the imperial office. Basically, the game was made with political betrayal in mind and that's very fun. Sadly there's no one to play this shit with ahhh

This shit's just slay the spire with extra (worse) steps

As for the last indie game I tried, it's Silly Polly Beast and it's tragically kinda ass.
>cute protagonist, mute skater punk girl who trips and falls into hell after burning down an orphanage
>has a nice aesthetic (sometimes) but most of the areas so far have been pretty bland ruined city streets and sewers (like pic related)
>incredibly questionable balance for what is ostensibly a twin stick shooter where your gun both has no ammo and also does no damage, everything takes more than half a cylinder of ammo to kill and you don't get to carry any spares so 90% of combat is bad melee attacks and roll spamming
It sucks because it had a really fun demo a couple next fests back but between then and release the developer completely bungled it

Depends on what basic electronics entails. In terms of general boolean logic and transistors hard chip and kroptochrytk (whatever that zachtronics communist flash game is called) show it quite well.
Of we're talking very basic circuitry though, I've never seen a game actually show resistors regardless of how important of a part it is. It's the first one you're taught and its probably because its presence fundamentally entails math wuthal a calculator unlike transistors.

I don't know if we're counting demos or not but I'll do both just in case.
>Full Game
A Solitaire Mystery
A bunch of different solitaires made by the guy who made Baba Is You. They keep kicking my fucking ass. I've only beaten like two of them and I don't have a lot of hope of getting more. Still, I do recommend it. There are some fun ones in here.
>Demo
Moonsigil Atlas
It's a Slay the Spire-like (you know what that entails) but instead of energy, you place sigils on a board to activate your cards. I think it's pretty fun but it ain't even out yet so I won't make a full judgement on it.
>>
>>725993463
I meant electronic circuity. Like an arduino simulator but with puzzles, and without the arduino necessarily. Voltage, resistance, ohms, shit like that, never got it. Oh and teaching transistor would be fun too.
>>
>>725992376
The game can't decide if it wants to be a twin stick shooter or survival horror. A damn shame because I really like Not!Power's design.
