I get it's easier to fit all that stuff onto a manga page but for anime they could do what the Wixoss anime did and just fast forward through the combo steps and just get to the dropping of the final result

I'd expect the deck to never be good again since they'll avoid printing good 2s of any ED summon type because Spright was tier 0 in the OCG for a format. I say this as someone who owns a playset of ulti Blues.
