If they're gonna completely abandon the "isolated" atmosphere of Metroid and give Samus a bunch of quirky sidekicks, they might as well go all the way and have Samus talk too. So far, it's the same problem BotW and TotK have; any dynamic or relationship the protagonist is supposed to have with the characters is undercut by the fact that they don't speak, so the other characters just end up talking to themselves.You can keep Samus quiet and stoic to play the straight man to her wackier partners, but not having her say ANYTHING just doesn't work.
