I know this games writing is far from perfect and there are greater inconsistencies and plot holes. I still can't wrap my mind around this one. Flambae from what we can observe has a similar power set to the Human Torch from Marvel Comics. He can fly, produce flames, and can set himself ablaze without burning himself.Yet in our first encounter with him we can choose to toss a glass of alcohol towards him. Setting his eyebrows on fire. I'm just wondering how? Is the flame that he attacks with different from the one when he flame's on? Or is he only invulnerable to the fire when he's ignited? Honestly at this point I really wish they dropped the branching paths during the story and just had them all matter at the finale. It's clear they can't make the choices branch meaningfully because of combinatorics making it not feasible, so I'd rather they made a single path that was meaningful instead of what we got. One example Phenomaman vs Waterboy: despite the former being stronger than the Z-team combined he barely does anything in scenes where it could be him or Waterboy depending on your choices, for obvious reasons. Just skip the branching paths during the story and give us a lot of variations of the last 10 minutes of the game instead.Also episode 8 sucked, though fucking up the ending is not rare to say the least.

A lot of people say the game is very biased towards the Invisigal romance route and after episodes 5 and 6 I agreed especially as someone doing the Blonde Blazer route. But then episodes 7 and 8 happened and I realized it. The game isn't biased towards Visi's romance. I actually think the game hints at Mandy's romance being the more canonical one. The reason it seems biased towards Visi is because aside from Robert, the game is her story. Her moral dilemma, her superhero/villain origin, her potential redemption. And her crush on Robert is part of that. And the reason you see it even if you are picking Blazer's route is because her insecurities in life are leading her to think that's all she could potentially have. But what she wants more than any of that is to be seen as a hero. That's why if you romance Mandy AND redeemed Visi, she's not upset and actually encourages you. Because she finally realizes by the end that what she wanted the most was not Rob's romance, but acceptance.
