It's good. Been playing it for an hour every weekend since it launched and I've been having fun. Its got beautiful graphics, incredible atmosphere and most importantly it's scary.

One detail that I thought was the coolest so far was during the school part if you interact with a door on the 2nd floor Hinako says something strange as if she were losing her mind, that sort of small thing stuck with me for some reason.

It's about as good as any in that it has great atmosphere and makes you think things, but also combat is fucking dogshit.

Started it recently, only a couple of hours in but so far I like it, it doesn't really "feel" like Silent Hill but more like a modern take on early 2000s Japanese horror like Siren, they nailed the atmosphere and game even has that limited budget aspect to it. My only complaint is that combat is really bad, but so far at least they had the courtesy to not spam you with encounters and the durability system + how fragile you are makes combat tense.
