Could this be used as your main PC? I'm still using my PC that I built in 2017 (i5/1060). Was thinking to finally upgrade. I would just need it to browse the internet and torrent anime.
sure, why not?
>>726003112could probably get a refurb deck and a dock
>>726003112It'll do that just fine anon. You can even swap the OS out if you don't like steam OS/Linux. But desu unless your play games with shitty kernel level anti-cheat you won't need to do that
>linux>only a few usb portsseems annoying
>>726003112If you're a 1080p gamer then yeah it's perfect. I don't know why you'd opt for an unupgradable cube rather than simply upgrading your current rig though. You'd save money and have a stronger PC for it.
>>726003112>I'm still using my PC that I built in 2017 (i5/1060)>I would just need it to browse the internet and torrent anime.why even bother upgrading, then? 10 year old pc hardware is still perfectly capable of browsing the internet
No because you could probably build a better pc for the same price or maybe slightly more, and you'll actually be able to upgrade it over time with new graphics cards and other components as opposed to this thing which is basically a laptop with a giant heatsink.
>>726003504upgraded 4chan experience...
>>726003380>what's a usb hub
Looking at just the specs the answer is yes.Thinking about it for a bit longer the answer is a strong no, a custom PC you'll be able to incrementally upgrade later on and be able to fix if a part breaks.
it depends ON THE COSTseriously why even make threads about it until we know
>>726003112For torrenting and browsing the web sure, is the CPU an upgrade too? Have you checked? You could also save some serious money and build a PC that is more powerful than the next next-gen consoles now and it'll last you at least another decade. But it's expensive.
>>726003112A desktop is better, but sure. The real interesting part is its portability allowing you to take it anywhere, so you could say it's feasible for a portable PC.
>>726003112I think that's the point. It's an entry level linux PC for lazybones who want to stop using windows.
>>726003380Surely it'll have acouple on the back too
>>726003112it probably won't be significantly better but you can do it, sure. Probably won't be that bad, either.
>>726004963two usb 3.0 on the fronttwo usb 2.0 on the backone usb type c on the back
>>726003112It is better than or equivalent to what 70% of steam users are using, just on Steam's own linux distro, so yeah. But also, you can torrent anime and browse the internet on your current PC.
>>726003112>No DVD driveHow am I supposed to get my games into the thing?
>>726006831Buy a dvd drive
>>726003504bcuz I want to play new pc games everything needs to run on low
>>726003112Depends on if it sells less then Xboxs mini PC. They say it's a PC and you can do whatever you want with it but I don't trust them. Unless they are encouraged to do so. I can see valve going the way of apple with Gabe's departure.
>>726003112in linux (you can do this is windows too, but its just actually terrible to install compared to linux) you can install ani-cli, so unless you care about the quality of your anime, i would recommend trying ani-cli if you do consider switching
>>726003112it would be ideal providing it doesn't cost a lot
