I didn't even know there was a Black Ops 4
>>726006959What was the best Black Ops?
>>7260070041 and 2
Watched Kevduit play and I don’t know what happened to CoD, not played since Modern Warfare but this campaign was something… not sure it’ll recover
>>7260070041 > 2 > 3 > 4. In that order. I don't really consider any of the other games "black ops" games IMO. Definitely not Cold War and for shit sure not 6 and 7.
>>726007312>but this campaign was something… not sure it’ll recoverLiterally nothing will happen. I remember when I chimp'd out over the MW3 campaign (literally never even finished it) being turned into some DMZ/War Zone slop shit that more people online would be upset...but nope. A few grumblings here and there but most people didn't even give a shit. Which is comical considering how badly people shit their pants when BO4 released with no campaign...so ppl will cry when you remove the campaign...even though they don't even play it...but when you completely butcher the campaign it's radio silence.Besides, majority of the people spending money on CoD these days are zoomers. They don't care about the campaign because the CoD zoomers grew up with was the CoD that was trying to dick ride Fortnite's popularity. So Black Out. War Zone. DMZ. Open World Zombies. Etc etc. This is what they know.
lol
>>726006959That one was a battlenet exclusive not released on steam that's probably why
>>7260070041, 2, and 3 are the only ones worth mentioning. In terms of campaign 1>2>3, in terms of zombies it's 2>1>3, in terms of multiplayer it's 2>1>3 - though such rankings are hotly contested amongst the last of the true. If you hated sniping or couldn't quickscope, 2 moves farther back. If you enjoy movement bullshit, 3 moves farther up. I will mention for full transparency that towards the end of 3's lifespan, it was near unplayable - not even from modders, rather from the fact that the game would lag or slow down if too many people in one lobby were talking at the same time. Sometimes I wonder if the games back then are what I'm missing, or if it's that I was young and my body didn't ache - but then I hear about what current COD players have to endure, with forced 50/50 win / loss ratios, cosmetic based matchmaking, and an entire generation of hare brained movement trannies - and I realize that yes, things were leagues better in those days. What I wouldn't give for an Advanced Warfare sequel in the same vein as the first. Hell, a Ghosts sequel would be satisfactory at this point. I'll never forgive Treyarch for covering up her tits when they brought her back in Tag Der Toten.
>>7260070041
>>726009619No.I demand an Infinite Warfare sequel. That was the best campaign in the entire series.
>>726008997I really get the feeling that the budget for CoD gets progressively smaller year after year. I wonder how long until they fold/dissolve dev studios and make it a 2-year or 3-year release?
>>726009843I never played it, although the zombies did look enticing. Especially Rave In The Redwoods. By that point I was deadset on not upgrading my console or storage, and being content with only having room for the updates of a few games at a time. I also really did not like space, ironic considering I mentioned Ghosts and there's that mission at the start of the game with the KEM Strike Satellite.
>>726007004Cold War, but /v/eddit is not ready for this conversation
>>726010038I just want to see sales figures for this game and Battlefield 6.Hell, Battlefield 6 had a standard Call of Duty campaign. But it's obviously the multiplayer that has all the attention and polish. And right now, I see zero complaints from either game, apart from the campaigns. But I wouldn't be surprised if just this one time, Battlefield sold better than Call of Duty.
>>726010083It's the best damned campaign in the series. It's the one Call of Duty game that everyone vastly preferred the campaign for over the multiplayer. It's that good.
>>726006959it's bad
