It was made before ZM and it shows, but it's really not that bad once you adjust to its crap factor and realize it's gonna stay linear

Fusion is my favorite lol .
- The atmosphere probably top 3 in the series.
- The bosses elite - serris, yakuza, nightmare, sa-x some of the best and most memorable in the series.
- The music some of the best on the gba
- the story while linear is decent

The Nightmare boss sucked ass but otherwise I had a fun time.

I like everything about Fusion except the actual metroidvania part. Bosses are great, story is great, music is great. Level design just isn't that good, it's tolerable and not even the worst in the series, but maaaaaan it's not good! Can't even do a good ol' fashioned sequence break. Unless you do ACE.
