I sometimes still play single player games vs AI.I use whosyourdaddy to quickly kill all the mobs on the map and get the best items I can find, then remove it and try to beat 1,2,3,etc AI's with just the hero. I love games that let you make up your own rules for shits and giggles.

Frozen Throne on the other hand is a fucking master piece with every campaign better than the last where the Last Campaign you even get a split between Arthas and Sylvanas. The Lich King's entire plan is ballsy as fuck and basically puts all his faith that Arthas will beat Illidan. Whole culmination of plot line coming from the first campaign. Opening and Ending Cinematics are beyond Kino, ROC basically ends with Fern Gully Deus ex Machina and Medivh rambling on some crap that doesnt matter.

Blizzard really had a knack of writing expansions back then, TFT is basically Broodwar for warcraft (unlikely alliances, twists and turns, evil winning) but it was still great.

>>726022484The world building in TFT was great, a nice splash of comfy 90s/2000s edgelord anti-hero fantasy really enhanced the RoC feel.A lot of the missions devolved into proto-MOBA gameplay where the base building and economy gameplay was effectively shelved and the levels were more of an adventure game for your hero squad (and of course the orc campaign was literally a proof of concept for WoW). The campaign heroes generally became just absurdly fucking powerful in TFT and the game would often give you enough starting units and reinforcements to get by without building too much. The Naga were also just obnoxious to fight, and even though I enjoyed the orc campaign some of the sections on Theramore were really tedious just because of how long the fights would drag out.
