Just finished this, really cool detective adventure game set in victorian-era Ireland, lots of spooky ghosts and mysteries, good story and evidence gathering / hypothesis systems

Highly recommend for Golden Idol / Obra Dinn enjoyers

Basically what OP said but there's a time system where every action, like examining an object or talking to a character about something, takes time (usually one minute of in-game time) and every character has a schedule so they move around the manor doing different things at different times of day, different areas open up at different times, etc, so you have to manage your time and think about what actions you take and what questions you ask
The goal is to collect clues and solve mysteries for each character which will presumably lead to solving the overarching mystery of what happened to the missing girl you were hired to find

"Talk to everyone about everything" busywork is part and parcel of the detective genre, if it's any consolation the game is designed to stop you from literally doing everything though

In 3 days there will be a seance. You should probably find the missing person and save everyone from getting FUCKING OBLITERATED at the seance.
You do so by talking to the Guest about Topics and interacting with environment to get more Topics to discuss. Each interaction moves time 1 minute forward. Each character has a timetable and changes places every hour. There are non-substantial events you can miss. Interacting and talking will fill up the mind map and at some point the game will tell you that you have enough evidence to solve some person's problem and then you do so to save them.

It is uncomfy but even if you'll interact with Everything there is more than enough time. I had to pass time 3 hours during the endgame because I was done with the mysteries way before the final events.

You are, maybe you should check your detective vision in the stable with the safe.
And the basement will open when the cargo arrives on the 3rd day, no need to stress about that.

Look at the map. The bathhouse is closed, yes, but there is another room which is adjacent to the space where the bathhouse should be.

the second I saw that looking at a pumpkin took time I lost all motivation because it's such a retarded mechanic, but I kept playing
then I saw something like 15 characters introduced at once and I was a bit confused because I didn't understand why it was presented in such a shit way, but I kept playing
I did the first part with the druid guy and the woman, where you solve the woman's mystery and I just couldn't keep playing after that, I don't exactly remember why
not for me but I hope you guys enjoy
