I've warmed up to it a bit over time. The only problem with it is how restrictive it is to have a map just FULL of hostiles. Every time I get the inkling of going up and doing a sniper challenge on there I just think about what kind of cleanup I need to do getting up to and then off the water tower undetected and it's like the perfect way to produce the most consistent low-grade tension headache.

Some of it is skill issue, but it's not so bad.

It's the worst level in the Hitman reboot trilogy. It's bland, not visually interesting and has that shitty orange/brown/desaturated sunset filter. Basically it's the game using its visuals to make a 2017 game look like a 2009 game for a whole level.

Actually liked this place, all criticism are valid but I liked it still. All the half torso dragons were creepy as fuck and gave me that feel when you entered a high level dungeon in a MMORPG but all enemies are passive until you fuck up and they swarm you.

It's very easy to get engi/guard outfit and just walk around pouring water on electric sockets and leaving explosive canisters everywhere. I forgot the last time I had to actually shoot or stab anyone on that map. It is truly overhated.

i know the game gives you so many creative ways of killing your targets, but i also like to just move stealthly and snap some necks while i make my way to the target
i understand that the point of hitman is to kill your targets with basically no one ever noticing you were on the map, but people have told me that going loud sometimes it's possible just extremely hard

I like Hokkaido well enough, but I prefer Sapienza. It has everything:

>A network of tunnels and caves
>A church and cemetery
>A sunlit beach
>A town with winding streets
>A luxurious villa overlooking the town
>A ruined castle overlooking the villa, with working cannons

And all of that in vibrant colors and intricate detail. I also like Isle of Sgail, which is atmospheric in its own different way.

It really could use a new bonus mission like Sapienza. I wish the devs didn't go pure lazy Hitman 2 and 3 as far as new content goes. Hitman1 having both bonus missions and a bonus campaign is far more supriour than some eslacation challenge bullshit. Isle of Sgail desperately needed a bonus mission.

I don't even find the scenario itself limiting, but the execution. So much wasted potential for proxy kills

Novingrad.
Issue is just pacing. No man landing is tight. With bloody baron. Kiera and witches. Only big sidequest is tower full of mice.
On otherhand. Novingrad is mess. Main Quest is kinda meh and feels way too long and story is kinda mess. Then you are bombarded with side quest after sidequest. It goes way too long and pace is bad.
This is consequences of story cuts. Orginally game was 3 act long. All the sidequests in Novingrad were orginally part of main quest in act 2. And some expanded parts if orginal script got rammed into same mess.
That part of game just burns you out and you end up hating whole place

>offices-labs has the loop of getting to <new area>, getting your shit pushed in by <new enemy>, scraping together resources in <area> to increase your power, and then leaving for <next area> being able to handily defeat most enemies in the current area, maybe struggle a little with the strongest ones
>reactors turns this up to 11, enemies in reactors will fucking RAPE you while you're still in hydroplant gear and the resource bottlenecking and using the same resources for both level and gear progression ensures you do not match these enemies until you move on to shadowGATE
