I'm replaying through the original classics for the first time in years (and the rest of the franchise) while I wait for RE9, I'm on Leon A at the moment. I've just reached the labs with a ton of magnum ammo that I haven't used at all yet, I've been relying on the shotgun and pistol, would it be a good time to start using the Magnum on bigger enemies and bosses now? I honestly can't remember when I should start using it.

Use it only on bosses that are giving you a difficult time.

re2 showers you with ammo

You should have been using the magnum on birkin. Also keep in mind, if you're somewhat thorough, you get way more ammo than you will ever need. If you have like 12 shotgun shells no boss fight is going to be trouble.

Don't worry I'm gonna do all four scenarios, Leon A, Claire B, then Claire A, Leon B.

I like to get the most out of the games I play, so I'm doing the non-canon events first, then I'll do the canon scenarios.
