turning around at high speeds is clunky as shit because of the slippery controls, also the spin dash is worthless, slow and too floaty, same for the homing attack. railing is ok though and i liked the wall run and jumps.
again, if they kept adventure's physics and behaviour, this wouldn't be panned that hard, same for heroes

Imo, it's only a big deal when starting out. Even less if you're a kid who only gets to play games on a weekend. Same thing for Heroes. I find it strange when people insist on doing all four playthroughs at once and then complain about getting burned out.

The Reloaded fanpatch of the game solves a lot of the issues with the game, reducing some of the more tedious stage mission requirements, reduces the number of endings you need to unlock the last story and overall QoL improvements.

Doesn't fix the game 100%, but certainly improves it a fair bit. I was surprised how much I enjoyed replaying the game.
