How much realism does a game need in order to be immersive while also not be boring?
Obviously, you don't want a game where the weapons have goofy ass SFX like its new Berserk. But at the same time, making every weapon look and feel realistic will make it dull and boring

A game needs realistic water impact physics for me to play it. If you hit the surface of water at faster than 10 mph it should do physical damage

Exactly 47 out of 121. Every game is the exactly the same, regardless of genre and you shoild expect same level of realism from a hyper realistic sim and arcady shooter
