Alright niggas, I'm tired of of "press X to fast" with a controller.
I like Nascar and I like drifting. What kind of racist setup do I need?
>Likely can't get my hands on professional shit like mid to high end Thrustmaster due to country limitations but also don't want to go below like a Logitech G923
>Can't decide if I should just go full poorfag and just do it with my monitor or get a VR headset (and in that case it should be an affordable one as well)
Is the Logitech one good for casual stuff just for fun? As long as it feels at least somewhat realistic instead of arcade-y shit, I'll probably be good.
Should I wait for the new Valve headset or get a cheaper one?

for VR in racing you shouldnt go wireless, the battery only lasts one hour. and a cable is not an issue for seated racing.
cheapest PCVR that isnt shit is probably the PSVR2

take you're pick

in my opinion no
T300/TX is the bare minimum, and you also dont need much more than that for drifting, especially if you do the T300/TX bearing/cooling mods. those high torque wheels are more for people who do regular racing, it doesn't benefit drifting that much

yeah i think wireless comes handy here, much more than other genres. it really bothers me how i have to live with the cable dangling in between my back and my chair. but with that said no one really needs VR, that's just how you get the most immersion/realism

Which is it

>feel the cable sliding against your chair/shoulder/back whenever you tilt your head even 45 degrees
>feel no dangling at all no matter if you're looking sideways or bending over
so which one?

go wired.

I dont know about racist games but for niche peripherals checking out the second hand market might be worth it.
