>>726029960Honestly, Rauru + Mineru + Zelda + 4 Sages + Calamo + Knight Construct (with 3 movesets) are all really fun to play, but the generics are pretty lame. They don't have as much personality, story relevance or even as many unique abilities to use in combat. And since so many of the higher level enemies have elemental typing, the fact that most of them don't have elemental attacks is a serious debuff. My favorite is probably the goron with the spear who wears a cooking pot on his head because he hits hard and in a wide area, at least.
playing as literally who characters is the cool part of a Musou. the problem is it's still a Musou, and it's a genre for people who find bubble wrap overly stimulating.

>>726031631Yeah elements are such a centralizing mechanic it's frustrating that battery doesn't recharge until emptied. Constructs are meant to plug up gaps in movesets but they aren't reliable enough to heavily use because then you're just burning through batteries or waiting for the cooldown.
