>Steam isn't a monopoly
>until they ban your game and you have to sell it on another PC storefront, and find out just how much "not a monopoly" they really are when it sells less than 10% of what it would have.

now explain what happens when sony or microsoft or nintendo ban a game and how you'd still play it as a console user
>>
>>726033937
Yeah, I can still get the game as a PC user, so it's better, but being banned from Steam usually means no more of that type of game will be made from that publisher since Steam has become so vital to financial success on PC. So even if I'm not screwed in the present, I'm still screwed in the future.
>>
>>726034242
steam would be better if it was completely free but for that you need to hang the payment processor kikes
>>
>>726034390
Steam was never completely free, but it was definitely freer in the past. It steadily got worse after the turn of the decade, but I think 2022 was the real turning point with the bans of Duel Princess, Dungeon Travelers 2 and Chaos;Head Noah all in the same year. Before that, the bans were mostly limited to adult and H-games depicting "extreme" content.
>>
>>726033560
other storefronts being inferior doesn't mean Steam has a monopoly, retard
also
>Steam banning games
never happened in Steam's 20+ year history

That's just the mass of CS2 and DOTA2 hours. People play those for tens of thousand of hours. Even third worlders would not mind paying a bit for them, but the monetization is through gambling.

Monopolies are only negative when combined with judaism.
>>
>>726033560
Simple, you sell it at Walmart.
>>
>>726031164
Steam is different because it's a private company that doesn't make anything.
>>
>>726031164
Reminder that monopolies are perfectly legal.
>>

>>
>>726034390
