Nobody on /v/ hates Ghost Trick.
>>726031373Its an inoffensive puzzle game for very young children. You're like the people who think /v/ likes Kirby because no one complains about it.
>>726031508I like Kirby because the game are very dark for being kids games
>>726031508You mean Takumi's magnum opus to this day and a story that mogs the majority of puzzle games and visual novels within the mystery genre you mean
Because it's kino
Great game, went a bit off the rails at the end though
>>726031373This was true before the HD remaster released. The game would appear on so many people's 3x3. But since the game got a new lease on life all appreciation for it here vanished. Seems v only championed it when it was at risk of being a forgotten hidden gem
I liked it but it's one of those games you play once and then have no reason to replay it or think about it again. The story also had some pretty retarded moments but that's to be expected from a Shu Takumi game.
>>726036337Once you go back to give it a second shot, you find a lot to appreciate which you can only catch on a second playthrough. Loads of foreshadowing and hints that recontenxtualize the story. It's worth returning to after you give it some years.
>>726031373Did a replay recently and it's still Takumi's best game. Storywise I like Mad Rat Dead for many of the same reasons but mechanically Ghost Trick is light years ahead.

>>726037189Ghost Trick is easily Shu Takumi's Magnum Opus. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles or the Phoenix Wright Trilogy might overtake it, but that is an unfair comparison grouping together multiple games in a collection against just Ghost Trick. Without a doubt in Capcom's top 20 games ever.
The way /v/ talked about it, I thought it was a VNI was pleasantly surprised by the puzzles, shit's fun
In the end it dropped the supernatural aspect to become a political thriller. Was kinda lame. Still a good game though.
>>726037995Surely, you mean the reverse. Either way, the characters are what matter all rhe way through to the end.
