I started playing Civilization 6 but I really hate how weird world generation is. You get many small patches of deserts throughout the continents but I would much prefer for them to be very rare but bigger. Is there a mod or a way to modify ingame world gen files to change it? I assume this thread will get zero replies and get archived within half an hour but it's still worth a try since I'm not sure where else to ask
Just play Civ 4
Just play Civ 5
>>726038991There's a couple mods that mess with Civ 6's world generation, I used BBS personally when I played but you could look in the workshop for what you're specifically going for
>>726039127is it really better than 6? I was wondering which one I should play and I ultimately pirated 6 because I assumed newer = better. Doesn't apply to 7 of course but 7 was made by trannies and retards
>>726039505>newer=betterThe best Civilization game is 25 years old
>>726039505>is it really better than 6?YesA lot of civ veterans say 5 is the best "modern" civ.It came out at a time where it can run well on modern computers, looks relatively modern, and had many new features but still feels "civ" like.6 went too far and really doesn't feel very "civ" like to a lot of people. It also has a lot of community mod support that re balances it to make it feel even more "civ" like to vets who like the older games.
>>726040230what are best mods? I like to play on marathon speed btw
>>726041101For gameplay Vox Populi is the most popular.Makes it feel like a whole new game.I'd suggest playing the base game first before downloading it just to understand how much it changes. Its very fun.Be careful with the AI difficulties with Vox, it makes them much harder. For UI, Enhanced User Interface mod is the best.>I like to play on marathon speedI like civ 5 on the slower speeds, Epic speed being my favorite but marathon is fun too in 5.
