I miss Spyro

Synthetic incel likes it so i have to hate it

played it briefly at the dentist's office when I was a kid, never truly gave it a chance. There was a Contra arcade cabinet that didnt take quarters, you could play it for free so obviously I played that while waiting.

She misses Spyro too

I've been replaying Spyro 2 recently, trying to 100% with all skill points but the speedways are a nightmare.
The homeworlds are incredibly comfy though. I would live in Autumn Plains forever.

I think an aspect of Spyro that's kind of overlooked is it's fusion of a very fantasy style setting but with infused with modern technology. Spyro levels were effectively micro worlds in of themselves and I spent quite alot of time when I was younger just walking around them.

I've never quite gotten a similar vibe from another game series since then. Even when Toys for Bob tried to hijack it for Skylanders it wasn't the same.
