So not only can you only concentrate on one concentration spell at a time but the vast majority of spells are useless trash AND have a concentration requirement more often than not. So you just grab the one or two useful spells at any given spell level and literally never cast anything else, and that problem only gets magnified in a video game. They could remove concentration from half the 5e spells that have them and people would still rarely, if ever, cast them.

The premise of the game is that the party is infected with something that can kill them at any second, which if you ask me seems like a matter of some urgency, yet the game expects the player to delay solving that pressing issue and get involved in detour activities instead. It makes absolutely no sense. Why would anyone get involved with a war between factions, a hag or compromise to rescuing a politician from a city one´s never been to in that situation? Furthermore why would anyone trust a dream visitor in that context? Like, you literally have MIND flyer in your brain, a parasite that is known for invading minds and you are expected to just trust a dream visitor you are just coincidentally getting to know in that context? It makes no fucking sense unless your INT is 5 and you are absolutely retarded. So that´s what i´d change, i´d very much like it if the game made sense. Either recognize the urgency and make quests comply to that or just eliminate the urgency altogether, in which case i´d be happy to explore your world and help your NPCs with their meaningless issues they may have like any merc would.
