subnautica is one of the most fun VR games to play with a joystick only it doesn't have native support for you. You gotta go into Xpadder and remap some controls. I have a picture related and a thrustmaster x. I use the leavers to ascend and descend, the throttle to go forward and back, the 4th and 5th axis to go side to side and the joystick to change directions. It's a lot of fun in VR. Wish more games allowed native joystick support, getting it to work in xpadder and the like is rather tricky at times!
