They blueballed us for 7 years to reveal that this Metroid Prime game has a huge empty desert with nothing in it, and quippy sidekicks with Marvel/Forespoken dialogue. I'd call this a master troll desu, if it didn't also seem like incompetence.
Every metroid fan has earned the right to be traumatized whenever the fuck "galactic federation troopers" make it to the final cut. It's like they exists specifically to suck the soul out of the series, it's ironic the only recent metroid game with soul is the one where the all die.
