Is this crap worth a playthrough?
Not even worth the internet bandwith consumption
No.The combat feels like shit and the story is legitimately terrible.
>>726049648The story behind the Horizon project is good, but it all takes place in the past so 50% of the story is audio and hologram logs.
>>726049610>>726049648Gotcha. I'm just gonna replay assassin's creed 2 again then
>>726049378To be honest, it has some fun ideas but it's not that good.
>>726049378Not really. You can find worse open world games with shittier combat but it's still mediocre on it's best day. It's one of the least interesting games I've played. That grapple chain thing was cool though.
>>726049378why didn't they just make a silent customizable protagonist like dragon's dogma?
>>726049739>The story behind the Horizon project is goodIt was beyond fucking stupid>uhhh let's make an autonomous war machine that can't be remotely deactivated, what could possibly go wrong?>oh and this machine can self-replicate. How? don't ask too many questions please>oops, everything is dead. ALL biomass is doomed to die as turns out this robot is powered by biomass itself (fucking what?) and is destroying literally all living things in existence now as it self-replicates indefinitely>annnnddd it gets fixed by an AI...the solution? just wait and everything will grow back eventually :)obviously I'm keeping it short and being a bit facetious here, but I found it utter tripe that they expected anyone to take this narrative seriously. Absolute hack writing, all to try and explain the contrivance of having advanced robotics present in a tribalistic world. Guess what? it didn't need the loredump to explain that contrivance. It legitimately would've been more interesting to leave it unexplained.
What are some actual good open world games? The genre seems oversaturated with trash. Cool combat is the biggest factor and none of them seem to have it
>>726049378No
>>726049378Do you like nu ass creed? Its the same game
>>726049378HZD is literally the most boring game I've ever attempted to play.
>>726053319does outer wilds count as open world?
>>726049378enslaved is better
It's more sleep inducing than Ass Creed.
