I tried yesterday to get xbox emulation going, I have only emulated Nintendo in the past. This was way harder. All I want to do is play original Splinter Cell Double Agent, which is only available on PS2 and Xbox. It's my favorite series but I've never gotten to play it. I spent a long time trying, and when the game finally started it was laggy and the controls were unresponsive. So I gave up. Maybe my PC is too old. Anyone ever emulate Splinter Cell? Do you know if PS2 emulation is easier to get working?

not quite emulation because I've been playing the games on actual modded hardware, but I've been playing Yakuza Ishin (PS3) and Bayonetta (360), though I might swap to emulate the switch ports of Bayonetta because my 360's Right Bumper is starting to go, and swapping lockons not on my command is really screwing me over

I've definitely fallen into that trap a lot, nowadays I only download a rom if its something I plan on playing right now.
