No. Too many issues especially the second half. Maybe one day Fromsoft will release something complete and not rushed.

I actually think DS1 is mid. The metroid map layout ceases to be cool, when the vast majority of your map sucks mad shit. Areas that are a not a slog to go through in DS1 are painfully rare.

Fromsoft really fucked up releasing Dark Souls 2 & 3 and Elden Ring. From there their direction and formula got more and more fucked up. They should have never tried to copy their previous success, or tried to live off a predecessor's hype, and should have experimented to come up with something new and better, example Bloodborne and Sekiro which are the 2 best fromsoft games. I also think souls games as a whole would have been vastly better if not for the shitty gimmick bossfights and levels all around say Bed of Chaos & Farron Keep etc.
